I like this quote the best and I think that this quote achieves the purpose of persuading us. From my own experience, it is really true that doing nothing or simply loafing around is the time when I actually think about things and creativity kicks in all the time when I do so. So this quote appears to be really true for me, and I agree with it a lot, so that's why I think it achieves the purpose of persuading me.

This quote is effective in persuading since it mentioned ample psychological research suggested that, and these concrete evidences are the best when it comes to supporting an argument (or a topic that the author is trying to persuade the readers about) However, it would have been better if the psychological researches were more detailed, such as the mentioning of dates and programs that carried them out.
