When Mr.Pirzada Came to Dine

"Don't worry," I said. It was the first time i had uttered those words to Mr.Pirzada, two simple words I had tried but failed to tell him for weeks, had said only in my prayers. It shamed me now that I had said them for my own sake.

  1. Lilia said that to suppress Mr.Pirzada's worry about her going out, she was trying to make him feel more comfortable. But then she said that it shamed her because she said them for her own sake, she wanted to tell him "don't worry about your wife and children" all the time, but she didn't. This quote depicted Lilia's concern about MR.Pirzada's feelings and that she's a pretty careful-thinking girl.
